Arts For Inclusion: Community Carnival 2025 (22 Jun 2025)

Our annual community event for 2025 was the Arts for Inclusion Community Carnival was a day filled with curiosity, creativity, sunshine, calm, and kindness, all coming together to celebrate the beauty of inclusion and community.

The highlights included:

• Curiosity:

Attendees explored how to support the community by connecting with our amazing local vendors and partners in the marketplace. Thank you for showing your love for the people who make our city thrive!

• Creativity:

From face painting and henna art to gardening, tote bag decorating, and photo frame designing, the sensory activities area was buzzing with joyful self-expression and artistic flair!

• Sunshine:

We’re so grateful for the sunny weather that let everyone fully enjoy the vibrant outdoor carnival experience. Nothing but smiles all around!

• Calm & Kindness:

The therapy dogs melted hearts, chocolate-making workshops brought sweet moments, inclusive yoga classes offered peace, and weaving activities brought people together in a shared, meaningful flow.

• Community Strengthening:

The handprint canvas with personal messages of inclusion was a true symbol of unity. Attendees learned about assistive technology, and the African Drumming group got everyone singing, dancing, and connecting through the universal language of music.

• The Crew:

A massive THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers—this day wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work, dedication, and heart.
